Food Suggestions, Things to Bring, and Directions

Food Suggestions

You may bring your own snacks and beverages (adult and regular) aboard for your adventure. You may also purchase snacks, sandwiches, trays, and beverages and the marina shops. The vessel is furnished with a full galley and the refrigerator and freezer are available to you. Bottled water is available on board.

Avoiding Sea Sickness

No one wants to provide a recycled lunch for the marine life. Luckily, we are providing you some tips on how to avoid Mal de Mer or sea sickness.

  • Avoid greasy or acidic foods for several hours before your adventure begins.
  • An empty stomach can be worse than eating the wrong foods.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Drinking alcoholic beverages before sailing and sometimes during sailing can induce sickness.
  • If you start feeling sick, avoid the cabin and enclosed spaces. Laying down and/or losing site of the horizon can and will add to the sickness.
  • If someone in your party becomes sick, avoid watching the show. Sympathy sickness can happen.

Items to Bring

These are some of the items we suggest:

  • Beverages
  • Sunscreen
  • Sunglasses
  • Hats
  • Camera
